FIGURAL/Nudes

Being an abstract painter I had a desire to do figural work.  I thought of painting myself nude and it scared me . . .  then I knew I had to do it.  Believing I am weak and vulnerable on canvas I choose bright strong primary colors to offset that weakness.  "When I am weak I grasp on to my strength, when I am strong I am aware of my weakness."
